Brian McBride is a multidisciplinary creator and technical problem-solver based in Alberta, working across creative technology, applied learning, writing, music, visual production, and software tooling. Through Tiki-1 Studios, he brings together more than two decades of projects spanning DJ and music production, speculative fiction, digital art, branding, game concepts, websites, server and network administration, Python utilities, and AI-assisted workflows.
Professionally, Brian’s work has focused on apprenticeship, trades, standards, curriculum, stakeholder engagement, and practical systems that help people learn, build, and make better decisions. He has taught culinary arts and entrepreneurship, developed applied learning programs, and continues to explore how structured information, automation, and AI tools can support real-world training and professional practice.
Creatively, his work moves between narrative design, speculative fiction, album and cover art, experimental audio, game design, and visual identity. Tiki-1 Studios exists as both an archive and a working studio space: a place to document past work, connect current projects, and build new creative and technical tools with a clear sense of story, function, and craft.
